Redecentralize

We’ve had enough of digital monopolies and surveillance capitalism. We want an alternative world that works for everyone, just like the original intention of the web and net.

We seek a world of open platforms and protocols with real choices of applications and services for people. We care about privacy, transparency and autonomy. Our tools and organisations should fundamentally be accountable and resilient.

hello redecentralizers

If you happen to be handy to Paris in mid-december,
then you may be interested in attending squatconf,
or speaking there!

It's an anarchist tech conf.

It's free and there are no sponsors.
you can make a donation if you like.
Naturally we can't buy speakers airfares,
but we can find a couch you can crash on.

If you have some radical ideas that would never
work on the stage of a normal tech conference this is the place for you.

Isn't this rather November 15th?

Definitely, thanks again for the pointer, Dominic.

That's how conferences should always be :)

Sounds great. Is it really just a one day event?
I'd like to arrive a day earlier at least.

I think this is as much of a wild radical talk proposal i can come up
with currently:

https://github.com/hpk42/talks-1/blob/master/proposed/secession_from_broadcast.md

Oh, and i'd like to thank for the inspiring thoughts that are
discussed here on this mailing list. It's a pleasure.

cheers,
holger

holger, yes it's a one day conference, but there will be a second day with no
talks, just whatever, the day after. Your proposal looks good!

If you want to know more, it's all being organized in #squatconf on freenode

November the 15th according to the site. Unfortunately, I have family
commitments that weekend otherwise I'd have come along (Eurostar FTW).
