We’ve had enough of digital monopolies and surveillance capitalism. We want an alternative world that works for everyone, just like the original intention of the web and net.

We seek a world of open platforms and protocols with real choices of applications and services for people. We care about privacy, transparency and autonomy. Our tools and organisations should fundamentally be accountable and resilient.

Hi, I'm one of the organisers of OggCamp this year, and I was wondering whether there was any interest from the Redecentralize team to attend or have some kind of formal presence there?

OggCamp (http://OggCamp.org) is a large free culture unconference in the UK. This year, it's on 19th and 20th August at Christ Church university, Canterbury. There is a single scheduled track and two barcamp style tracks, as well as somewhere for organisations such as Fedora, Ubuntu, Hacker Public Radio, and ... possibly Redecentralize? to explain to people what they do, why they're there and how to get involved.

If you're interested, please let me know!

All the best,

Jon "The Nice Guy" Spriggs

Hello Joe!

Am just asking around if anyone can do it...

Think could do a good session or stall around stuff that can be
installed and used straight away.
